🛥 Saturday, December 11, 2021 marks the 52nd Poulsbo Yacht Club Lighted Ships Parade. This wonderful event that has become a holiday tradition within our community.
Along the route (see below) Santa will call out greetings to children who have emailed Santa at santa@poulsboyc.org. Be sure to get your email greetings to Santa by Friday, December 10th, in order to be included. You may also sign up for Santa notifications through the following link Santa Shout Out
The route will be: Starting at the PYC Marina at 5:00 pm, the Lighted Ships will proceed directly to downtown Poulsbo circling in front of the Liberty Bay Waterfront Park pavilion. Then the fleet will head south, following the west side of Liberty Bay, to Keyport, then up the west side of Bainbridge Island through Agate Pass returning back at the Liberty Bay Marina at approximately 9:15 pm. Do you want to be in the parade with your decorated boat? Sign Up HERE
Note: The following is for PYC members: PYC members are invited to send off the Lighted Ships on their route from the PYC Marina. Bring horns to give a good blast off from the marina at 5:00 pm. Also, PYC members are invited to vote for their favorite lighted ship in various categories, such as Best Theme, Best Use of Lights, etc.
After the parade, when we return to the PYC Marina, we will gather at the Clubhouse to present the awards, have some mulled wine, and share the leftover snacks from our boats.
If you know of anyone who wants a greeting from Santa, ask them to email Santa at santa@poulsboyc.org. Feel free to contact Bill Whiteley at (360) 930-9129, if you have any questions. |
