Are You Ready For Alaska? - Mike Huston, Partner, San Juan Sailing and Yachting, Inc. - from event on January 19th, 2022

Are you intrigued by the idea of taking your boat to Alaska but not really sure how to prepare for such a voyage? What do you need to do to make sure your boat is ready? What skills do you need to safely skipper such a trip? What should you anticipate and prepare for? Mike Huston, a partner in the San Juan Sailing and Yachting organization in Bellingham, is veteran sailor, author of boating articles, and an instructor in the San Juan Sailing School. Mike and his wife have made several boating trips to Alaska. He will share with us how best to prepare for the voyage of a lifetime to Alaska.
